A specialist in veterinary radiology (a “veterinary radiologist”) has fulfilled the requirements to be board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Radiology, including a 3-year residency and a rigorous examination.


A veterinary radiologist performs and/or interprets:

  • radiographs
  • ultrasounds
  • advanced imaging such as nuclear scintigraphy, MRI and CT scan
